Your generosity and enthusiasm for the Linda Fisher Reese Memorial Scholarship allowed us to reach
our initial funding goal of $25,000 in the record time of only 6 weeks! THANK YOU!

Since the original funding; total contributions are now over $65,000 with over $12,000 having been
awarded to six deserving Tulane students!

Please consider an annual contribution to help us to continue our work and grow the endowment fund.

A donation to the LFR scholarship is credited as both a Tulane and LFR Scholarship contribution.  As the endowment fund grows, it will allow for increased benefits to deserving Tulane students.
The first scholarship was awarded in May 2014. We have awarded a scholarship every year since.

Linda cherished her years as both a Tulane student and as an Admissions Assistant representing Tulane.  The education she received, her life experiences, and her friendships meant so much to her.  Linda also benefited from financial assistance while at Tulane.  She would take great pleasure today in aiding others.

Some Facts you should know about your donation to this Scholarship…

All gifts to Linda’s Scholarship count as gifts to Tulane.

The recipient of the scholarship will be chosen by Tulane’s College of Liberal Arts.  It will be based on
both merit and need.  In addition we have requested the following three guidelines:

(1) pursuing a degree in the liberal arts,
(2) from a hometown more than 300 miles from New Orleans
(3) a member or pledging member of a sorority

We thank you in advance for any and all support you can provide.  In addition, in order to help us spread the news, we have also set up a Facebook Page for the scholarship.  Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you know that might be interested in supporting Linda’s scholarship.
